A professional mechanical engineer from Italy, Attilio brings to H2U over 15 years of professional and academic experience in the broader energy area in Europe, US, China, Australia and New Zealand, with a strong professional and academic focus on strategic planning for the development of alternative energy infrastructures and greenhouse gas mitigation initiatives.

With over 30 years management experience in the public and private sectors including large horticultural export companies. He held positions in the Australian government providing advice to business on strategy, growth, trade and investment, including Industry Lead for Energy and Environment in Austrade and Director of the Clean Technology Innovation Centre.

Executive Director, Commercial
Richard is a senior executive who has over 25 years’ experience in various management roles including CEO, General Manager, Director, Commercial Manager and he has worked in executive roles in the natural resources, consumer products, transport and tourism sectors across both the corporate and government sectors.
He was recently engaged by the Queensland Government to set up the Queensland Hydrogen Taskforce and the cross government Hydrogen Delivery Unit within the Department of Energy and Public Works to manage the states Hydrogen Strategy with a focus on attracting hydrogen proponents to Queensland.
Richard has extensive experience working within executive government, government departments, government owned corporations, local government and providing a high level of corporate affairs, government relations, media, stakeholder, strategic marketing and communications advice.

Top-performing, strategic-thinking professional with over 18 years’ experience in chemicals business management (in particular Ammonia and Bulk Gases). Self-motivated with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Extensive expertise in managing multifaceted commercial projects; global RFT, ranging from commodity chemicals trading, product and/or market development to large mining developments. Highly skilled in needs assessment, quality assurance, managing supply chains.
